Hélène Marcy, born in 1959, joined Orange in 1997, where she held various sales and marketing roles within the Group before taking charge of communications for her trade union organization, and subsequently focusing more specifically on promoting and developing employee savings and employee shareholders within the Orange Group.

She led an international marketing intelligence and foresight team at the subsidiary Sofrecom, liaising with Orange’s marketing and R&D teams, and oversaw the development of new web services for businesses and local authorities in Occitanie (South-West of France) within an internal start-up. Previously, she worked as a marketing and communications consultant, notably at an agency within the Publicis Group.

For 10 years, she supported Orange in the commercial launch of services that foreshadowed the internet and mobile telephony. She was a member of the Economic Committee of Orange’s Central Social and Economic Committee, and of the European Works Council. She is currently a member of the employee shareholding fund Orange Actions’ Supervisory Board and Vice-President of the trade union “CFE-CGC Orange”.

She holds a Master’s degree from TBS Education Toulouse, having completed the programme through continuing professional development.
