Connecting people
is what we do
Connecting people has always at the heart of what we do. Families separated by oceans can share a video call. Students in remote African villages can access e-learning. Companies can manage operations in the cloud in real time. Networks allow 291 million customers across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East to stay in touch, work, learn, and share experiences. Reliable coverage also powers global events, including the Paris 2024 Olympics. These networks fuel conversations, boost local economies, and give people access to everyday digital services that matter.

What
sets us apart
For over 20 years, Orange has built and operated networks that keep up with major technological changes. Having full control over the connectivity chain is crucial. Undersea cables carry almost all of the world’s internet traffic, satellites reach the most remote regions, and fiber delivers high-speed connections straight into homes. Together, these networks make sure people, businesses, and communities stay connected. On top of that, 5G+ and our mobile networks are recognized across Europe and beyond, putting Orange among the global leaders. Our infrastructure is designed to be resilient and sustainable, keeping services running no matter what. Millions of customers, businesses, and even other operators rely on these networks every day while reducing their environmental impact.
Having full control over the connectivity chain is crucial, under the sea, on land, in the air, and in space.

Connecting
where it matters
Our networks connect lives, experiences, emotions, and major global events. Take the Paris 2024 Olympics, for example. For the first time in Olympic history, we were the sole operator assigned to handle all the event’s telecom solutions. Over 1,000 Orange technicians worked across 120 sites covering 878 competitions. Around 90% of Wi-Fi hotspots and 78% of switches from the event will be reused in La Poste sites across France in 2025. That’s what we call sustainable performance.
Our work doesn’t stop there. In Poland, Spain, Africa, and the Middle East, Orange Energies brings millions of people access to clean, affordable energy through smart solar kits. These are managed remotely via the Orange Smart Energies platform, giving households reliable energy while improving lives. Connecting the world means connecting people to the services they need to thrive.
Connecting the world also means giving people access to essential services, making life easier and more enjoyable.
