Yasser Shaker was appointed Executive Vice President and CEO of Orange Middle East and Africa on 1st July 2025.
Yasser Shaker became CEO of Orange Egypt (OEG) in 2018 during a particularly challenging period and successfully led a major turnaround, reviving growth, restoring profitability, and strengthening OEG’s market position, serving now over 33 million customers.
With 28 years of telecom experience, Yasser combines multinational corporate and country-level management. He also served as CTIO at Orange Middle East and Africa where he played a key role in implementing the Group’s digital strategy.
Passionate about youth development, he currently serves as chairman & board member of several universities & organizations. A telecom engineer with an MBA, he speaks four languages.
