« My life revolves around skateboarding, it is an obsession, it’s a deep thing »

In the skateboarding world, there are legendary figures who have conquered the sport, and there are those who, against all the odds, are blazing their own trail.
Such is the case of Boipelo Awuah, a 17-year-old skateboarding prodigy from Kimberley in South Africa. Known as Africa's top-ranked skateboarder, Boipelo has become both a champion of the sport and a role model for countless young skateboarders. Board in hand since the age of 5, Boipelo intends to demonstrate all her talent and technique in this new discipline at the Olympic Games.
