From November 17 to 19, 2026, Orange Middle East & Africa will participate in the Africa Tech Festival at the Cape Town International Convention Center in South Africa.
As a sponsor and exhibitor, Orange MEA will present its vision of a digital world that is useful, accessible, and innovative, serving businesses and citizens across the continent.
Over the course of these three days, visitors can stop by the Orange booth to experience three exclusive demonstrations:
- Max it Instant Messaging, a new conversational experience that combines messaging, support, and everyday services.
- IMS-as-a-Service, Orange Wholesale’s solution to simplify the deployment of VoLTE, VoWiFi, and VoNR services while reducing costs and time to market.
- Max it Assistant, a voice assistant that allows users to access the services of the Max it Super App in their native language.
On November 17, three Orange MEA executives will speak on the major challenges of digital transformation, new services, and artificial intelligence:
- 9:20 a.m. – 9:40 a.m. | Auditorium 2 – CTICC 1 | Opening keynote by Yasser Shaker, CEO of Orange MEA.
- 2:25 PM – 2:50 PM | Stage 7 – CTICC 2, Hall 5 | Fintech: Ben Cheick Haidara, Deputy CEO and COO of Orange MEA, will participate in the discussion “Building Digital Businesses: Creating New Revenue Beyond Core Products and Services.”
- 3:05 PM – 3:45 PM | Stage 4 – CTICC 2, Hall 7 | Rami Ben Gadri, CTIO of Orange MEA, will participate in the panel discussion “Customer AI at Scale: Personalization, Service, and Experience Across African Markets.”
Three initiatives from Orange Middle East and Africa are in the running for the Africa Tech Festival Awards:
- Telecom Innovation Award : SKC Automation Hub – Orange MEA / Egypt
- Data Center Innovation Award : Deployer / Rollbacker / Checker solution - Orange MEA / Egypt
- Most Impactful AI Solution Award : Intelligent NOC solution - Orange MEA / Tunisia
The winners will be selected by the jury and announced during the Africa Tech Festival Awards Gala Dinner, on 18 November, from 18:00 to 22:00.
