This offers digital career development and training opportunities as part of a work-study placement working alongside Orange experts. In France, apprenticeship is increasingly popular among young people. It reached a new record in 2022, when more than 837,000 contracts were signed in the private and public sectors, up 14% from the previous year, according to the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Economic Inclusion. Apprentices receive academic training and professional guidance. At the end of the training, they earn a qualification that gives them the same prospects as any other higher education degree. Orange has offered work-study programs for many years and supported 4,500 work-study students in France and more than 300 partner apprenticeship training centers.

What is a company CFA?
The 2018 “Avenir professionnel” (Professional future) law enables companies to launch their own Apprenticeship Training Centre (CFA) as a corporate tool to develop their apprenticeship offer. It enables students and employees to acquire new skills while also meeting the company’s specific talent needs as an additional apprenticeship training solution to help meet the gap in specialist expertise.
