Enora, tell us about your job in a few words
I’m responsible for delivering technical services to major events, in line with the deadlines and budget set. For the past five years, I’ve been working on delivering technical and digital services for the Junior Women’s Football World Cup in 2018 and for a telethon in 2018 and 2019. I have also worked abroad to support the Madrid Open and the Dubai World Expo in 2020.
Why did you choose Orange?
Orange is a dream company for engineering graduates specializing in telecommunications. It has promised me a varied career working within a range of different roles and sectors. I also wanted to work on projects employing cutting-edge innovation within dynamic teams while benefiting from the advantages of a large company.
What makes your job appealing?
We’re lucky that we can measure the impact of our projects, many of which garner global visibility. It gives me huge satisfaction and pride. In Marseille, we had just 24 hours to change the stadium from a rugby tournament to a Pope’s visit! This was teamwork at its best.
How does your role support the Group’s ambitions?
We’re able to demonstrate the Group’s technological excellence, responsiveness and availability in customer relations, and tangible CSR commitments. The high visibility of the events we manage impacts Orange’s image and business.
What are the main challenges in your job?
My role brings specific challenges, such as ensuring excellent cost management and planning. We also have to manage external factors such as compliance regulation and health and safety risks. Knowing how to anticipate issues at each stage of the project and manage stress are daily challenges. There’s no room for error!
