Hugues Foulon

Executive Vice President, CEO of Orange Cyberdefense

Hugues Foulon is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées (ENSTA). He is also author of the 66th “defense policy” session of the Institut des Hautes Etudes de Défense Nationale (IHEDN).
He began his career in 1994 at Générale des Eaux (Veolia Group) where he became Director of a drinking water plant then Director of the companies “Monégasque de Télédistribution” and “Monégasque des Eaux”. In 2000, he entered the world of telecoms when he joined Monaco Telecom (part of Vivendi Group) as Deputy CEO in charge of support functions.
In 2005, he joined the Orange Group as Finance Director for the consumer mobile sales division. He stayed for two years before leaving for Maghreb where he was Director of Financial Control for Maroc Telecom. Returning to Orange in 2007, he held several positions including Financial Control Director for the Marketing and Innovation division, Director to the Group’s Deputy CEO in charge of Finance and CFO of Orange MEA. He was then appointed Head of the Chairman & CEO’s office for Stéphane Richard and Secretary of the Group’s Executive Committee.
Effective 2 May 2018, he took on the role of Director of Strategy and Cybersecurity activities of the Group and CEO of Orange Cyberdefense.
Effective 3 April 2023, he was appointed Executive Vice President, CEO of Orange Cyberdefense
