The magic of the Olympic Games stepped beyond the elite. On 10 August 2024, we opened the doors to this extraordinary event to runners of all backgrounds. Whether you were a seasoned marathoner or an enthusiastic first timer, Orange created a space for you to be part of something historic.
The most experienced runners took on the full 42 km marathon, while others enjoyed the shorter but equally thrilling 10 km route. And because inclusion is in our DNA, athletes with disabilities joined in the celebration too.
The nighttime atmosphere gave the race an extra spark, letting participants take over the streets of Paris just hours after the Olympic champions. It was a truly unique way to run in the footsteps of the greats.
Behind every runner is a story, a challenge, a personal victory. That is why we created Team Orange Running, a vibrant and supportive community built around three words: inspire, support, reward.
On Instagram, our community brings together runners from all walks of life, from beginners to experts, both able bodied athletes and athletes with disabilities. They share experiences, advice and personal wins. We keep the energy going with fun challenges, tailored training programs and rewards that celebrate every effort.
It is a shared journey that turns a solo sport into a collective adventure, where everyone finds their place and their pace. For us, it is not just about the finish line. It is about every step we take together.
Paris 2024 set a historic milestone for equality in sport. Alongside the Organising Committee, Orange helped ensure a perfect 50 50 split between women and men in this unique race.
This was more than a statistic. It was about reshaping the way sport is experienced and creating a space where everyone, regardless of gender, can shine. By taking part in the Marathon Pour Tous, each runner became part of a powerful movement toward a fairer and more inclusive sports community.
This vision of sport, accessible to all and uniting people through determination and passion, mirrors our deep belief that setting and meeting a goal knows no gender, age or physical condition. It is universal, and it deserves to be celebrated in all its diversity.
The Marathon Pour Tous was a living expression of the values that drive us at Orange: innovation in how we approach sport, the pursuit of personal bests, and above all, inclusion.
By opening the Games to the public, we created a bridge between elite sport and sport for all, reflecting our ongoing commitment to equal opportunity and digital inclusion.
Each step on that Olympic course represented our vision of a world where barriers disappear and possibilities open up. It is a vision that goes far beyond this race and is expressed in everything we do.
