Range invests over €1 billion annually in networks across Africa and the Middle East, bringing high-speed fixed and mobile broadband even to remote areas. Our goal is 85% 4G coverage, reaching the most isolated communities. 5G is already rolling out in Botswana, Jordan, and Senegal.
For off-grid villages, we’re deploying 15,000 new fully solar-powered sites over three years. Projects like the Djoliba network in West Africa and the 2Africa submarine cable create a digital backbone that connects the continent to the world.

Orange Money,
driving financial inclusion

Orange Money has transformed financial access across the region, enabling more than 110 million subscribers in 17 countries to send and receive money easily and securely from their mobile phones.
Orange Bank Africa, our digital bank in West Africa, complements this with credit and savings services, partnering with other banks where we don’t operate directly. Together, these services broaden financial access for everyone, including the most vulnerable.

Building skills
and supporting entrepreneurship

Our Orange Digital Centers (ODC) are strategic assets for building entrepreneurship and supporting career development. Offering open access, and free to all, they provide a full ecosystem for innovation and business creation, including coding schools, FabLabs for prototyping, Orange Fab programs for startups, and Orange Ventures, our investment arm.
We also support innovation through the Orange Social Entrepreneur Prize in Africa and the Middle East (POESAM), which has recognized high-impact social and environmental startups since 2011.

Access to clean,
affordable energy

Through Orange Energies, we’re tackling a major challenge: providing electricity to the 600 million Africans who lack access. Our solar kits, available in 13 countries, have already reached over 450,000 homes, benefiting more than 3 million people.
Customers pay small monthly installments via Orange Money until they fully own their solar system. Our Orange Smart Energy platform manages installations remotely and simplifies payments. We also provide professional solar kits to support income-generating activities.

A promising digital future

Our vision extends beyond traditional telecom services. With our super-app Max it, we simplify daily life by bringing all our services into a single, intuitive interface. Our Engage for Change platform channels employee engagement into meaningful action on the ground.
And this is just the beginning. We’re exploring new frontiers such as responsible AI tailored to local needs, accessible e-health and e-education solutions, and tomorrow’s African smart cities.
